The Phoenix Centre run a ‘Good’ rated Ofsted registered after school club. We collect children from St. Mary’s and St. Hilda’s primary schools in Prestwich.
We collect children from the classroom door and accompany them safely to the centre, 5 days a week. Children enjoy an afternoon snack and engage in games such as role play activities as well as various arts and crafts. We have two halls, a lounge and an IT suite which offer children comfortable spaces to relax and engage in activities. We are fortunate to be situated in the lovely St. Mary’s Park and when the weather is favourable, we make use of our outside space and the playground, tennis and basketball courts.
We have two different pick-up times, 5pm or 6pm in the evening. All staff are DBS checked and have childcare, first aid and all other relevant training to carry out their roles in the club.
